It’s hard to go through life without wondering sometimes why some people seem to have all the luck. Plenty of money and material goods, great jobs or careers, happy relationships…you know the drill. Of course, so-called lucky people don’t wonder so much about luck, because they tend to feel rather lucky. If we less “lucky” people didn’t know better, we might actually believe that nature doles out luck blindly, leaving us in our own respective corners, wishing that nature would hand us a good turn some day.

In the Jewish calendar, tonight marks Shavuot, the commemoration and festival of study and celebration of the day the 10 Commandments were delivered by Moses to the Jewish Nation from Mt. Sinai. Shavuot is considered to be a day of revelation. How fitting a time to contemplate the essential principles guiding the art and science of homeopathy. Find below what I call my own “Ten Commandments of Homeopathy.”
Very often I hear from my patients that they want to move faster in their healing and ask me if they can take “more” of their remedy. In Homeopathy this leads only to one thing: confusion and backsliding in the case. When things are going well, the less remedy the better, and more is certainly not better.
I have been thinking a lot about food lately. Just ask my kids. From reading everything I can get my hands on to forcing my family to try out a vegan diet for a month, there doesn’t seem much left to investigate or learn. Yet after all my efforts consulting the “experts”, no clear understanding or conclusions could be deciphered.
The Falkner School for Homeopathy is dedicated to training confident and effective homeopaths the world over via its interactive, live, web-based teaching format. Homeopathy Through Simplicity is a proven approach that guides students back to their own core knowing, from where all that is needed can be accessed reliably. Through observing live clinical cases and managing them through regular follow-ups, all the essential homeopathic philosophy, concepts, and principles will come alive in a natural and organic progression throughout the program. Students will have every opportunity to engage in personal inquiry and receive direct supervision on their own cases after they have built a solid foundation in the first two years of the program.
One of my goals as a physician-homeopath is to educate. Over the years, it has become apparent that a great deal of confusion exists with regard to just what homeopathy is. Many equate homeopathy with holistic and herbal medicine. Others think of vitamins and nutrition when they hear the word ‘homeopathy’ mentioned. In this article I will try to clarify what homeopathy is and how it can have such a powerful healing effect.
